    Global Missions Week

All of the Persian and Turkic peoples who call Central Asia home are unreached. Most Central Asians have no knowledge of biblical Christianity and are unaware that the Gospel is good news. Whether you feel called to missions long-term, desire to learn how to lead a missionally-minded church as a pastor, or just want to learn more about becoming a lay person faithful to the great commission, this week the World Missions Center has something for you!

Join us and our 10 Central Asian missionaries as they walk through a multitude of events this week.

    Schedule

September 13, 5:30 pm in Seelig Banquet Hall | Meet a Missionary Fellowship Dinner
These missionaries are church members, friends, and family members. They have favorite sports and favorite foods, joys about serving in Asia, and hardships. Come get to know them over dinner.

September 14, 10:00 am in the Lottie Moon Lobby | One Magnificent Obsession
Each week the World Missions Center hosts One Magnificent Obsession in Lottie’s Lobby of Mathena. However, this time one of our missionaries will be leading us in a devotional and prayer time specific to South Asia. Consider coming to pray with us.

September 14, 11:00 am in Williams Banquet Hall | Chai Chats
Are you a woman considering serving on the field, as a wife, mother, or single woman? Come join the World Missions Center’s small groups of women to hear about hardships, joys, and daily life on the field. Children are welcomed and encouraged to join.

September 14, 4:00 pm at the RAC Field | Flag Football
Join the World Missions Center for a fun break in the busy week of Global Missions week. Their missionaries will be ready for flag football, and pizza will be provided for a dinner break!

    September 15, 3:00 pm in M118 | 2+2 Meeting
All 2+2 students will be required to attend a meeting with the Central Asia missionaries. Zoom will be an option. If you are not a 2+2 student you are still welcome to join to hear from the missionaries.

September 15, 6:00 pm in Seeling Banquet Hall | A Day in the Life of a Missionary Dinner
Please join the World Missions Center for a fellowship dinner with Central Asia missionaries as they share about day-to-day life as a missionary! A Central Asian dinner will be provided. Children are welcomed and encouraged to join.

September 16, 5:30 pm in the Coffeehouse | Missionary Q+A
Please join the World Missions Center in the coffee side room, for a missionary Q + A. They will have a Chick-fil-a dinner and an open forum for you to ask missionaries questions. Children are welcomed and encouraged to join.
