Join the Oxford Study Program trip

This summer, join Dr. Madison Grace on the Oxford Study Program. You will experience the sights and sounds of historic England and Scotland. Learn about the Reformers, early Baptists, C.S. Lewis, C.H. Spurgeon, British preachers, and contemporary missions work. Study theology, experience church history, and engage in evangelism with Southwestern professors.

Got questions about pursuing professional doctoral studies at Southwestern Seminary?

Tune in Wednesday, Jan. 26, to this live Professor Q&A with Coleman Ford, director of the Professional Doctoral Studies program, and Shane Parker, director of the Doctor of Educational Ministry program. They will discuss the new concentration for the DMin and DEdMin, Applied Theology. 

You’ll have the opportunity to learn about our Doctor of Ministry (DMin) and Doctor of Educational Ministry (DEdMin) degrees, as well as get advice on best practices for navigating your application process. And of course, you’ll be able to ask your own questions and get the answers you need to take your next steps in theological education.

COVID-19 forms and protocols

Please remember that as a member of the campus community, you are required to complete a COVID-19 symptoms form if you have tested positive or come in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus. This form is required of all full-time and part-time faculty/staff, any students who attend in-person classes, or who live on campus. The form may be accessed here. El seminario Southwestern reúne a líderes hispanos y destaca los nuevos títulos que ofrece

Del 14 al 18 de enero, más de 100 estudiantes de 10 países y 18 estados participaron en una semana de cursos intensivos en español como parte del programa de Maestría de Estudios Teológicos (MET) en Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. La semana culminó con una cena, patrocinada por el seminario, donde se destacaron los diversos programas y títulos que ofrece el seminario y donde también se escucharon testimonios por parte de los estudiantes.

Southwestern Seminary equips Hispanic leaders, highlights new degree offerings

More than 100 students from 10 nations and 18 states participated in a week of intensive courses in Spanish for the Master of Theological Studies (Maestría de Estudios Teológicos – MET) program at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Jan. 14-18, culminating with a dinner highlighting the seminary’s various degree programs and student testimonies.

Greenway encourages new students to prepare well for ministry faithfulness

In his Jan. 14 welcome to new Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and Texas Baptist College (TBC) students, President Adam W. Greenway encouraged the incoming class to remember the years they will be on Seminary Hill will result in “decades of faithful life and ministry and mission.”
