Reminder about COVID-19 forms and protocols

As the spring semester begins, please remember that as a member of the campus community, you are required to complete a COVID-19 symptoms form if you have tested positive or come in contact with someone who has tested positive for the virus. This form is required of all full-time and part-time faculty/staff, any students who attend in-person classes, or who live on campus. The form may be accessed here. If you have recently returned from overseas, you are required to complete a travel form upon return regardless of symptom status. The form may be accessed here. The Certificate in Biblical Counseling is the perfect addition to your theological training. Texas Baptist Honors Choir Festival registration open

The Texas Baptist College Honors Choir Festival is designed for exceptional high school junior and senior (11th and 12th grade) vocalists who will enjoy being challenged musically and encouraged spiritually. The students will engage in intensive choral rehearsals, master classes, special interest breakouts, fellowship activities, Sunday morning worship, and a festival concert.

Felix Cabrera named associate director of Hispanic Programs at Southwestern Seminary

Southern Baptist leader Felix Cabrera has been appointed associate director of Hispanic Programs at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, President Adam W. Greenway announced today.

“The appointment of Felix Cabrera to help lead our Hispanic Programs is further proof of our resolve to meet the needs of more faithfully trained Hispanic and Latin-American Gospel workers to the end that the Gospel will advance among all Spanish-speaking peoples everywhere,” said Greenway. “I am grateful to God for the blessing of having Dr. Cabrera join Southwestern Seminary’s already stellar team and look forward to even greater things from this area of urgent institutional priority.”

Felix Cabrera nombrado director asociado de Programas Hispanos en el Seminario Southwestern 

Felix Cabrera, líder entre los Bautistas del Sur, fue nombrado director asociado de Programas Hispanos en el Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary(SWBTS), anunció hoy el presidente Adam W. Greenway.

“El nombramiento de Felix Cabrera para ayudar en el liderazgo de nuestros Programas Hispanos es otra prueba de nuestra determinación de suplir la necesidad de más obreros del Evangelio Hispanos y Latinoamericanos, entrenados fielmente con el fin de que el Evangelio avance en los pueblos hispanohablantes de todas partes,” dijo Greenway. “Estoy agradecido con Dios por la bendición de incorporar al Dr. Cabrera al ya estelar equipo del Seminario Southwestern y espero con ansias cosas aún más grandes que vendrán de esta área de urgente prioridad institucional.”
