He desires to develop biblically sound missiological practices, mentor people in cross-cultural evangelism, teach the Arabic language, and study Islamic theology for the purpose of equipping Christians to effectively interact with the beliefs of Muslims.

Dr. Hiester is married to Cindy, and they have three children: Samuel, Hannah, and Caleb. They are active members of Southcliff Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas.

Enjoy this beautiful rendition of @BartMillard's song "I Can Only Imagine," performed by Southwestern A Capella from @SWBTSMusic.

We've been looking forward to this day all summer. There's nothing quite like the hustle and bustle of the first day of classes.

What are you most looking forward to this semester?

Three days of activities, orientations, introductions, and fun and games filled the #SWBTS and @TXBaptCollege official kickoff of the new academic year with New Student Orientation, August 10-12, as new students prepared for the new academic year.

Here at #SWBTS, we are committed to training even the smallest of Southwesterners. That starts with the Southwestern Music Academy through @SWBTSMusic.

You can register your child for one of the many music classes offered this semester at http://swbts.edu/sma.

What better way to beat the Texas heat than a friendly game of Slip-n-Slide Kickball?

We think it's safe to say this semester is going to be a good one!
